Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an Account Manager at our agency, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients — keeping them happy, aligned, and confident in our work.
- Managing select integrated digital marketing campaigns across content strategy, social media, and search marketing.
- Optimizing campaign performance and pushing for the best possible client outcomes.
- Overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and coordinating closely with the production team to keep work on track and on budget.
- Coordinating with the production team, assigning and QAing work precisely, and achieving results on time and on budget.
- Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities within your accounts.
- Supporting the Director of Client Services and staying current on industry trends and best practices.
- Staying informed on industry trends and best practices to provide clients with innovative marketing solutions.
Client Communication and Strategy (50%)
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring a strong relationship and high satisfaction levels.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to align campaigns with client business goals.
- Proactively manage expectations, addressing challenges and opportunities in real time.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all campaigns are executed efficiently.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain quality control and alignment on project objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with creative, media, and strategy teams to execute client initiatives.
- Maintain strong internal communication, ensuring that all teams are aligned on client expectations.
- Assist in the development of client presentations and reports to showcase campaign results.

- Client Satisfaction & Retention – Maintain an 85%+ client satisfaction and retention rate.
- Project Execution – Ensure 95%+ of projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Account Growth – Think strategically, pursue growth opportunities, and grow your personally managed annual book of business by 10%.
- Campaign Performance – Improve marketing metrics such as engagement, conversions, and ROI through strategic adjustments.
Required Skills
Hard Skills:
- 3 years of experience in account management, marketing, or client services within an agency or marketing firm.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, campaign execution, and project management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping them on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics, CRM platforms, and project management software.
- Strong business acumen with an ability to identify opportunities for growth within accounts.

- Take full ownership of assigned accounts, acting as the lead point of contact.
- Begin managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables independently.
- Identify potential process improvements for more efficient account management.

- Salary Range: $55,000–$72,000 base, commensurate with experience.
- Retirement: 401(k) plan with a Safe Harbor employer match.
- Time Off: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), plus 11 paid holidays, plus paid days off between Christmas and New Year’s, totaling approximately 26 paid days off.
